Luxury fragrance, reimagined as oil

House of Velvet began with a simple belief: the scents we love shouldn't fade by lunchtime — or cost a week's pay. We craft concentrated perfume oils that capture the character of the world's most beloved designer fragrances, in an alcohol-free oil base that stays close to the skin and lasts through the day.

Every oil is vegan, cruelty-free, and made to be worn every day — a little luxury you can roll on anywhere. We're an independent brand, inspired by the greats but beholden to none. This is fragrance on your terms: richer, longer-wearing, and refreshingly honest.

What exactly is a perfume oil?
A perfume oil is fragrance in a concentrated, alcohol-free oil base instead of an alcohol spray. Because there's no alcohol to flash off, the scent sits close to the skin, unfolds slowly, and tends to last longer from just a small amount.
How long do House of Velvet oils last?
Most wearers get several hours from a single roll-on application, and the scent often lingers on clothing longer still. A little goes a long way — start with one or two swipes on your pulse points.
Are they alcohol-free and gentle on skin?
Yes. Every House of Velvet oil is alcohol-free, vegan, and cruelty-free, which makes them a kinder choice for sensitive skin than traditional alcohol-based sprays. As with any fragrance, we suggest a small patch test first.
What does "inspired by" mean?
Our scents are our own interpretations of the fragrance families made famous by well-loved designer perfumes. House of Velvet is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to those brands — we simply craft oils for people who love those scent profiles.
Is this a knock-off or counterfeit?
No. These are our own original formulations, independently made and never sold as the original brand. We're inspired by the character of well-loved designer scent families, but every House of Velvet oil is our own creation, in our own packaging, under our own name.
What sizes and prices will you offer?
Each signature comes as a travel-friendly 10 ml and a full-size 30 ml roll-on. VIP list members get early-bird pricing and first access before the public launch.
